FRONT PRO UNIT

A completely unique piece of equipment allowing the photographer to project a 35mm slide background behind the main subject. Very clever machine in the right hands however a high selling price pushed this unit out of the market so sales were low.

The most basic unit from the Bowens factory to date this unit along with the smaller Bo-lite were primarily designed for the enthusiastic amateur market. Low power and limited controls but ideal for the small portait photographer.

Bowens most advanced triggering system to date the infra-red receiver and transmitter are still selling even today. Compatible with every Bowens electronic flash light and almost every camera it features a 6-200v sync voltage and a massive range capable of triggering in the largest of studios.

A small desktop transparency copier with capability upto a 6x6 slide. Inexpensive with limited controls it was aimed at the lower end market but cheaper alternatives meant low sales. Still popular amongst Bowens enthusiasts.

The ever popular Jetstream wind machine is still a big seller today as it was yesterday. With a 1600m3 flow rate it is capable of blowing up a storm for even the most demanding professional. Full variable control with a remote unit which can be used from the camera position to visualize effects.

ESPRIT DIGITAL DX RANGE

2002 - Present

The Esprit Digital DX range was designed and engineered for the photographer who needs an incresed level of precision lighting. Whether it's the fine power-output adjustments or refined repeatability the Digital DX is the most versatile system available. The DX range offers three models ranging from 250Ws, 500Ws and 1000Ws; all of which have precision light-output adjustments to an accuracy of 1/10th f-stops within a power range of six f-stops from full to 1/32. All the DX units also only fire at 100% recharge for total accuracy as well as incorporating full infra-red remote control capabilities. Another feature of the DX series is a three position modelling lamp settings: off, on (100%) or in proportion to the flash power selected. Also, like all Bowens current monoblocs the Digital DX range offers a built-in and switchable slave-cell.

The Quad 2400 is a two channel generator with dial controls. Power calibrated in stops & third of stops with a 6 stop range. A master switch operates a single or both channels. Each channel has it’s own sperate power control with a three stop range. Available in kits including Quad 2400 pack with 2 QuadX heads.

ESPRIT GEMINI (ESPRIT III) RANGE

Continuing with the success of the Esprit monoblocs Bowens have once again updated this range to fit the needs of todays photographer. The Esprit Gemini includes four different models; all of which offer power calibration in exact stops and also in 1/3rd stops, perfect for digital photography. The Gemini range also offers a 5 stop power range from full to 1/32. As well as being the ideal studio lighting solution, the Gemini range is also a location system too; as the Gemini has ben designed to operate from either mains power or from Bowens Travel-Pak (portable battery). The Esprit Gemini is the complete lighting solution.
